In our very own Santa Monica lives a book store like no other. This is a magical place where our childhood dreams of whimsical characters and fearsome tales have been captured for all time. The most exciting part is that the stories are not just held captive on a shelf, the art can also come alive in a space of your very own.
Every Picture Tells A Story has been showcasing literary masterpieces for over a decade. In addition to being a great children’s books store they are considered to be the foremost gallery displaying the Art of Illustration. On the walls you will find original illustrations from many of your childhood favorites, from Dr. Seuss and Eloise to Where The Wild Things Are. You can drop by to simply peruse the gallery or read from their collection of books and they frequently host book signings with well known contemporary authors. Your only task while there is to decide which of their iconic pictures accurately tells your story.
From April 30-May 1st you can join Every Picture Tells A Story and thousands of other literary aficionados at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, which will be held on the USC Campus.
