Summer Camp for the Real Artist

URBAN CONTEMPORARY ART CAMP AT ART WORKS STUDIO

Now, you could let your kid spend the summer doodling on paper napkins OR you could enroll them in a fascinating art camp that allows them to create their own expressions of bonified urban contemporary art.

This summer, kids participating in the Art Works Studio Summer Camp will explore contemporary street art. This years theme was selected due to the overwhelming response from their students who have gone to and LOVED the MOCA Art in the Streets exhibit. Projects will feature some graffiti art projects as well as a portrait project inspired by the Lisbon underground artist Pedro Matos. Kids will also create environmental portraits in the style of Kehinde Wiley. Art Works Studios are located in Hollywood & Culver City.

Camps Run: June 13th – September 9th
Ages: 5 – 13
Hours: 10 am – 3 pm.
Cost: $455 for the week (daily camps are $110 and will be offered only if there is space available)
Campers should bring a lunch, snacks will be provided.
