TAKE THE PARTY TO A GLOBAL LEVEL WITH PUTUMAYO KIDS’ NEW MUSIC COMPILATION

Putumayo Kids’ new music compliation Kids World Party makes exposing your kid to the world super easy. This lively mix of global music makes for a perfect party soundtrack, even if its just you and the kids rocking out in the living room.

As one of the leading children’s record labels, Putumayo Kids is committed to introducing children to other cultures through music from around the world. Thanks to Putumayo you won’t ever have to endure listening to anymore of those really bad kiddie songs that get stuck in your head and loop continuously. The Putumayo collection is a compilation of “real” music that is child appropriate but can be enjoyed at any age. I will confess, I used to listen to Putumayo Kids well before I had children of my own – I couldn’t help myself! It is really that cool.

Our favorites from the new Kids World Party compilation are “Quimbombó” by the Cuban-American Afro-Funk band PALO!, “Le Boogie À Vélo” by award winning Canadian artist Will Stroet, and “Cixiri” by the all female Sardinian group Balentes. Definite party starters! The compilation reflects different ways of celebrating around the globe while driving home the underlying message that we all similar in that we like a good party!

Putumayo will donate 7% of its proceeds from the sale of each CD to Amnesty International in support of its work to promote and protect human rights worldwide.

Visit the Putumayo Kids website to view the entire collection and check out the “Quimbombo” video below for a taste of the fun that is in store:
